{Silliness} My house at 4am....LOL

This is what happens when two friends get together after 11pm on a Saturday night after a LONG stressful week.... when i am supposed to be working (which i was until she started putting on all of my props...LOL). I was working and we were talking about something and that is when i got out some new flowers i had bought for my hair...i was showing her how i could use them for the babies and the little girls as well on my shoots...and that's when she started clipping them all in her hair...then we added the tutu and some wings and some more flowers...a necklace or 2 a vintage camera...a sign...my awesome polka dot rain boots...and who knows what else. She was a hoot...i haven't laughed so hard in a good while...:). We had each other rolling from laughter to where my stomach was aching. So i figured i have to take a picture if not just for the shear fun of it all but for blackmail....hee hee. Below are just a couple shots..soooo funny...Thanks Angii for a funfilled MUCH needed girls night!!!

CSI LoLLipop style....hee hee

{Beautiful Mother Daughter Duo} Lakeland | Central Florida | Urban Family Photographer

I am so happy to be posting this sneak peak of this beautiful Mother Daughter duo finally for you all to see...their session started out as a mini session that soon turned into a full session and well you can see why...they are naturals in front of the camera....they were my muse for the day ( i Love my muses...this is what photography is all about the joy of capturing that extra special something and succeeding in doing so). Thank you for that...the two of you were absolutely a dream to photograph...and it was nice to see the beautiful bond between the two of you and to capture it for you for years to come. I hope you enjoy your sneak peak :)

What I've Been Up To...

Hi y'all...we are back from our much needed family vacation....woohoo....LOL....i will admit that it was SUPER nice to ACTUALLY have some much needed time off just to be with my little ones and to do absolutely NOTHING but be with each other and do what WE wanted...i was sad when it ended and they had to start back at school. Spring Break can't come soon enough then summer....we LOVE summer! Some of you might be wondering what we did during our holiday...well....we packed up the kiddos and headed to Georgia first to spend Christmas up there in hopes of having our very first white Christmas and to be with my parents. Well NO we did not get to see snow but it was indeed an adventure. The boys had a blast they LOVE it up there they can hunt...LOL...play in the woods see caves climb mountains....play in the freezing creek and of course play the Wii with their Grandad. Christmas morning was off to a great start then we loss power around 7:30am did i mention it was FREEZING?!....and we had NO food that didn't require being heated up...grrrr...an adventure for sure the boys didn't seem to mind it so much so that was nice it WAS Christmas after all and we were all together and safe!...Ellijay is a very small town and with 6,000 people without power well you do the math...half got their power back on around noon and we..the lucky ones (note the sarcasm) got ours back on around 10pm...God bless those workers who worked nonstop Christmas day to restore our power and our heat :). Thank you!!!! Oh yea...we didn't have any water either but we did have a creek so we used creek water to fill our toilets and to wash our hands...ahhh nature. So over all it actually wasn't so bad and i do believe it was God's way of making us all work more together as a family and reconnect with one another and to create new bonds and new memories....memories we will be sure not to ever forget..a Christmas we will always remember.
The next day my best friend and her family came to stay with us...another tradition we started about 3 years ago...LOVE her...she keeps me sane :). I had my husband take some photos of us he was happy to oblige even if he didn't know it...HA...I have to say he did okay. Here we are in the photo below..this road was soooo steep i was playing around and teasing Betina that she was going to fall in her high heel boots and i was trying to hold her up....what's funny about this is well as most of you know i am a HUGE klutz...i could have brought us all down..but i am pleased to say that i did not!

Later that night we decided to head over to Tennessee then to Alabama to her house in hopes of seeing snow...still NO SNOW...oh but there is plenty going on now in all THREE states. Oh maybe just maybe i will see snow before i die...seriously it snows the day before we get there then it is all gone by the time we arrive then it usually will snow the day after we have left...CRAZY!...i've always said that people who want their snow to go away they need to send me their way and it's guaranteed to stop!...again this is just an inside joke...but i don't know with all of this crazy weather we have been having lately...blizzards and such they might need me HEE HEE....i want to see it but NOT live in it. I like my sunny state.
Any who....we had a blast in Alabama and Michael, Betina's husband took us on a hike up a steep mountain...LOL...up to this CRAZY COOL cave...it was AWESOME!..so was the hike. I bet it is beautiful when it snows. We couldn't go too far down into it because it was sooooo cold...maybe in the summer but then we have to deal with the snakes...not so sure about all that. I will post pictures later of our totally rad adventure.
So we spent a couple more days up there then we headed to "Home Sweet Home". It's always nice to be back home after being gone so long but i am also always so very sad to leave my family and my second family (Betina).
Well we are back and i am trying my very best to get back into the swing of things...so stay tuned i have LOTS of sneak peeks coming!!!...and they are AWESOME!
